Doghouse cover release.

05 Kountry Star on Workhorse chassis.

It's been a while and everytime, seems difficult, how far do you need to turn the release for the latch on the doghouse cover? It turns CW.

If you look under coach at floor area passenger side you will see the latch.
You can turn either way CW or CCW release off lip of floor cut out.
Its after thats done finding a space to place a screw driver to pry up doghouse.
Do it gently or your can break the fiberglass side walls of doghouse.

Thanks, Looking from underneath was going to be my next step, but was not sure I would be able to see what was needed. It's kinda strange, because you can turn it several full turns in either direction, and then it comes to a hard stop.

I was releaseing it ok, it was bound up. Finally used a long piece of 1 1/2" dowell and a 2 lb hammer to break it loose from underneath. The last time it was opened, probably AC service last year, it was forced down with carpet folded up and wedgeing it. Now will have to trim that carpet when I get through with my little project.
