Dometic 2 Degree spread

I don’t like that the thermostat operates on a one degree spread for heat and cool, especially on automatic with multiple zones. The dometic stat in the picture is the one I have. The manual has a procedure to change the one degree spread to two degrees. I couldn’t make it work so I called customer service who got us on a three way call with dometic. They had me try several things but we were not able to make the change. They determined it was a faulty thermostat. Freedom RV here in Tucson ordered another one and I can’t get this one to change either.

Has anyone with this thermostat been able to program it to a two degree temperature spread?
Thanks

Never tried it since I'm in FL and use Heatpumps (not FURN/AQUA mode). If I get a chance I'll give it a try. Do you get the indicators like "diF1" or "diF2" ?

My issue was when set to automatic and with three heat pumps, one would cool just enough to push another one into heat mode by one degree. They were constantly fighting each other to the point that automatic just didn’t work for me. It’s surprising more people don’t have this issue.

Others may very well have the problem. I don't use Automatic. In Florida it is typically a narrow range of temps (approx. 80 daytime and 60 nightime) so I use Cool and HP manually. Normally, the A/C comes on during the day and everything turns off at night. I use a small fan in the bedroom at night to circulate air. Maybe someone else will chime in. Try searching NealC posts ... I think he tried Automatic.

BTW, as I read the manual, I got the impression that the 2 degree spread only affects "Furn/aquahot".
