Dometic AC/HP roof mounting

I have had both dometic roof units replaced under warranty. I noticed that they are attached to the fiberglass roof with what appears to be 4, quarter inch lag bolts. I am curious if Newmar provides any additional support for these bolts to thread into. Seems that if they only thread into the fiberglass roof & thin wood underlayment, that the female threads would be prone to cross threading or stripping damage. Anyone know what those bolts thread into?

Having ordered two DSDP's and living with them for a total of 15 years I'm pretty confident that there is reinforcement around the openings and the bolts are into something more solid than fiberglass and luan.

Your roof rafters are 16" on center and crossed braced at opening to mount AC plate on a new form gasket required for new AC installs. -- NEW GASKET INSTALL

Thanks!

The drawing says sheet 2 of 2. Would you happen to have sheet 1?

Also it says for recessed ceiling. I assume that only the high end coaches have recessed ceilings. Perhaps sheet 1 is for non-recessed ceilings.

I don't have sheet 1 but the drawing Lass provided is accurate. However, it is actually the "support adapter" that is welded to the cross braces. It is a square of flat aluminum plates. The lag bolts go thru the fiberglass and into the plates. In other words, the A/C unit is actually bolted (indirectly) to the cross braces.
