Dometric RM 2852

Works good on electric but will not run on propane. Check igniter and did not see or hear a spark. Could not smell propane. How do you check the board?

Thanks
Rich

Your control board is good if working on electric, I would check the gas valve in back of fridge on line that feeds into igniter tube is open.
The age of your coach you may need to clean the metal tube for good ground so igniter can spark and the igniter lead, heavy wire, has spark.
That heavy wire may have dirty connection on control board that needs cleaning or you may need new board which you can find here.
Look in this TECH INFO link for more help near bottom of it.

Update

Went to Florida just running refer on electric. Came home and shut everything down. Went out a few days later to see if I could get it run on Gas. Nothing worked. Traced it to corrosion on the board. Ordered one from PPL on Monday got it yesterday and put it in today. All is working fine

Thanks
Rich

Was that an OEM Dometic Board or a Dinosaur Electronics Board?

Dino Boards are better quality but corrosion from moisture would kill either.
Don't be spraying water thru access/vent covers when washing rig

FUI......
The electric control circuit and propane control circuits are separate ---- one can function and other be bad
They share 12V DC for control power and thermostat for temp control but have own fuses/circuits.

It was a Dinosaur board that fits many models. Somebody must have replaced the board before because the cover was missing. When I went to check fuses I must have moved it enough to break circuit. When touching fuse with meter heard relay clicking. Had a fair amount of green on the solder terminals.
