Door latch help

One of my basement doors was closing very hard, now I know why. One of those brass “collars” was broken, now the whole device has fallen off. Wondering if this is a standard RV item, or specific to Newmar? If I can’t find one I’m thinking bolt and nut, but I’d rather have the right parts of course.

Thanks for the help guys. Can’t seem to find mine but I’ll get the P# from Newmar.
In the mean time I’ll use a bolt and lock nut.

I had the same breakage on mine and after searching around on the Trimark sight with no luck ordered them from Newmar. If I remember correctly they are around $20.00 each. I ordered a spare L & R to keep in the spare box.

The problem was a defective latch, the bolt didn’t go all the way through and was left partially out allowing the collar to sheer off. If these are made by hand at trimark they sent a defective unit to Newmar who used it. I don’t know who is to blame but I ended up having to fix some lazy persons problem. I drilled through and put a stop nut on, the way it should have been done in the first place.
