Drawers between front seats opens while driving.

The two drawers between the front seats on our Dutch Star always want to open when driving. Is their an adjustment on the drawer slides to tighten them up that I don't know about, or a latch that's missing?

Ours kept opening and I installed a drawer catch. Used the kind similar to the kitchen sliding drawers.

Try a small strip of Velcro. You don't have to over do it. Just an idea I am other will have plenty of more.

If you remove the drawer you should be able to pinch down the back side of the guide that is attached to the cabinet and this should make the drawer close tighter when shut all the way.

Or glue a small magnet to each piece.

That's what I was thinking that a magnet would work. May also try to tighten the slides when the drawers are in the closed position.

So happy this is all I have to putter with right now, sure beats trying unclog the black tank!

Unscrew the screw that holds the track to the drawer, the one towards the face of drawer. Install a toothpick between the track and drawer and retighten the screw. If still loose repeat on the other side. Oh and break or cut excess toothpick.

Child safety latch will do it.

On my intruder the 4 drawers in the "Kitchen" like to roll open when I drive.. I finally got a couple of Eye bolts, These are the lag-bolt type designed to screw into wood.. Screwed them in between drawers 1 and 2 for one, and 3 and 4 for the other, they are in the wood BETWEEN drawers and 100 percent out of the way of the drawers themselves.. the eye hole is like half an inch.. I have a half inch dowel that is just long enough to reach from the floor to the counter above the drawers.

Drop the dowel through the eyes and those drawers do not open. PERIOD.
