Drifting Jack

I am away from our coach (2019 CS 3719) but wife tells me on of our jacks has drifted down. It’s an Equalizer system. No oil under coach. Thinking one of my valves is passing. Coach is on 50amp power, but not up on jacks. Equalizer system is powered off. We are supposed to leave for two week trip next week, hoping it is something easy to fix.

Hi New2road,
Coach been used lately? If not (like in winter storage) I would not worry until it gets used several times. Things tend to get stuck or just not work if not used regularly.

You can wipe down jack shafts with WD-40, then wipe off excess. This also cleans them and so no debris gets past 0-ring. Once you use system a couple of times, it will either fix itself or not, then you can worry about it. I get air in mine and the storage bay creeps out a little, extend all the way out, then take in and it holds that for a month. Not going to pay hundreds for a new solenoid valve now.
