Driver’s Window Shade Rattle - SOLVED

For nearly the past two years the day shade on the driver’s windows has been rattling when going down a slightly bumpy road. I could pull on the rear of the day shade and the noise would stop. I had previously applied some tape between the shade bracket and the wood that its attached to, but it didn’t solve the problem.

The other day I took the shade down in an attempt to fix the problem once and for all. As I took the shade down the motor slipped out of the night shade. As it turned out the motors in both the day and night shade fit loosely inside the shade tubing. I decided to wrap the motor with some plumbers teflon tape before re-inserting it into the shade tube. I drove the coach 500+ miles the past two days and I feel comfortable in saying that the rattling has been fixed.
