Can't seem to get the driver's side map light in our 2004 KSDP to work - ie turn on. I know that there are effectively three gotchas: the light at its base has to be on; the rocker switch on the side at elbow height has to be on; and the dash intensity pot needs to be rotated all of the way clockwise. There is a fourth - of course: the bulb needs to be OK. I've covered em all w/o resolution. I'm wondering if the potentiometer should have a "click" position at the most clockwise position; in short, if the pot may be the problem. Anybody got any ideas? I can't find a fuse specific to this area.

Thanks.

Jim

Yes there is a click position on the headlight switch. It is the same switch they used on autos in the 60's-90's. When that is set and the light switch is on you should have powr to the light fixture.

If the click position has not been used in some time may have to click it a few times to remove oxidation on contacts to get instant reaction.
