DS 2017 in dash Sony Radio Replacement
Has anyone replaced their in dash Sony radio? If so, which brand did you go with?

Pioneer AVH-X491BHS.
Also CD-SR110 steering wheel mounted remote control.
Color me happy.

Why did you choose this one? Was it a simple swap in terms of dimensions?

Yes to simple swap. I was able to reuse the Sony escutcheon and XM/Sirius module worked also. There may have been some harness work required...not sure since I had it done by Geek Squad. I did not want GPS built-in, happy with Garmin.

It's the brand and model I knew I wanted. Several other posters have installed Pioneer flagship AVIC-8100NEX at about twice the price which supports navigation.
