DS 4369 Inverter Location

I知 still learning the details on my coach. Since at the moment I知 grounded with back pain and can not crawl around the basement, can someone tell me where is the inverter mounted? I知 planning on re doing some ground wires and trying to figure out how much wire I need.
Thanks

Sorry I can't help with the inverter/charger.

As a fellow back pain sufferer I can't recommend this book high enough. I've had one simple bulge surgery. I also started steroid injections several months ago. I started the stretches/exercises in this book and haven't had an injection in about 4 months.

Between the frame rails close to the wall behind the fuel tank.

Pull the tray out, then get on then have someone push you in! When you come back out it's easier (in the slide) to get out!

We were at the Newmar Balloon Fiesta and helped a Dutch Star owner replace his inverter that was located between frame rails and had to cut the bracket that held unit up. Must have been installed before floor was installed. Would recommend owners to check to see if unit will come out without using a sawsall to cut bracket to remove. Bolted apiece of metal when putting new unit in.

Oh man! You just scared the .... out of me. I just took delivery today of a Magnum MHS 3012 to replace the factory installed modified SW inverter. I just did a sprint out to the RV and pulled everything out of the bay so I could check it.

Whew! It appears that there will be ample room to R&R the inverter.

Scotty,

Does the new unit still network with the Precision Circuits Energy Management System? If my MS2812 bites the dust...I would opt for the MSH3012...but not sure I need the extra 1.6A of ac power that badly right now. If you don稚 mind me asking....why are you upgrading the Inverter?

Thanks,

Charlie

Charlie, my 07 came from the factory with a modified sin inverter. It was past due for me to upgrade to a pure sin. I'm trying to install it today but could be next weekend. My 07 MADP does not have an EMS.

I'm not sure how the hybrid works with one. Good question. Spinn in one of the previous post may know how it works with a EMS. His 08 Essex probably has one.

Ahhh...yeah, a friend of mine just installed the MSH-3012 Inverter into his MADP...and added ME-ARC Remote, ME-BMK Battery Monitor, ME-AGS-N, PT-100 Charge Controller, 8 - 180watt solar panels. His project is turning out really really nice! Have fun!

Also...remember when hooking up power to the ME network to have the ground connected prior to connecting the positive lead. Otherwise, the Inverter may try to seek an alternate ground thru the network wiring and do damage...

Have fun!!!
