I have another question for those with more experience with Newmar DS DPs than I. The transfer switch in the electrical compartment on our coach buzzes quite a bit when connected to shore power. While it's just a minor annoyance, I wonder if it may be a real concern. It works well, seems to do it's job just fine. I also notice when connecting to shore after running the generator and both ACs while travelling that it puts out a LOT of heat. The electrical compartment is hot after running gen.

I found one other post about cleaning contacts onthe xfer switch, not sure if I should try that or not. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or recommendations on this topic. Thanks

Mike, with your power off open cover of TS and run a dollar bill thru the armature brakets that move for contacts to close. Some times iron fillings can get caught between the relays armature.
Also check the wire screws and make sure all are tight. Be careful and not cross screwdriver across the circuit board in switch.
