DSDP Atwood Electric Level Legs - How High

We are relatively new to RVing and encountered our first CG experience where the back-in paved pad is lower in the rear - apparently by a few inches.

When I lowered the Legs using the "auto" feature, which is what I have done each time previously I noticed the rear wheels had left the pavement by about 1" on the passenger side and maybe twice that on the Driver side.

I attempted to manually resolve the getting the wheels back on the ground for the first time and really didn't do so well. Besides I wanted to be able to depend on the "auto" leveling feature.

So, I pull the coach forward where it appear to have less of an incline. I place our HD wood pads beneath the rear jack position and used the "auto" leveling feature. This time only have the driver side rear wheels off the ground by maybe an inch or less. I thought about it and decided it should be acceptable.

After sleeping on the issue, decided I would seek more experienced advice to determine if the wheel(s) can be slightly off the ground using the HD wood jack pads and wheel chocks.

I know I could have backed onto a pair of my HD pads but thought that the legs ar still lifting/supporting the majority of the weight.

Some experienced advice will be appreciated.

I would never lift rear wheels off the ground they are the only four to stabilize the coach from moving forward or backward and snapping off the jacks from the chassis mounting.
Never use the AUTO feature when on a incline pad, if you have it use the manual set up or ask for a better level site.
Some people have chocks to stable coach from moving back and forth.
Not your jacks but something to read.
Jacks are only to make the coach stable on ground not to lift off the ground.
Your front tires could be off ground but I would support with wood blocks to aid suspension of tires.

Thanks 007 - what you responded with is what I thought should be the case and you certainly confirmed.

Really appreciate the post.

I have learned to use the Manual operation for the Level Legs and life is much better. Not sure if I will ever use the "Auto" feature again as the manual mode is easy and you are in control.

Thanks again "007" for the quick response and sound advice.
