Dsdp battery tray

Hi,

My 2016 DSDP 4313 came with 6 batteries, although the all electric came with 8.

I'm thinking of updating to 8, but the battery tray isn't big enough although the bay appears to be. I was wondering if the all electrics had one 8 battery tray? Or did they put some batteries where my propane tank is mounted (right in front of the battery bank)?

Anyone know who makes the battery tray?

Thanks in advance

The ones I've looked at that were all electric had batteries mounted in the bay where the propane tank would have been.

The 8 battery option comes with a special 8 battery tray. I am sure you could order one from Newmar.

At least on the 2015 Ventana 4037, the all electric 8 battery tray was mounted at a 90 deg angle from the 4 battery/propane equipped units. The battery compartment is much wider on the all electric and in the spot the propane tank is.

Your DSDP is new enough that you may be able to buy the correct tray. Although my 07 MADP is AE, that option only came with 6 batteries back then. I chose to rearrange it myself. Here is the thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f103/my-b...-a-273727.html
