Tidbit......Now that everyone knows about the dimming, the other thing that made me crazy was the overhead lights in the cab area that come on when you open the door. Often, we may be watching the overhead TV and our kids or grandkids would go in and out of the coach and the lights would come on. There were also times I wanted to discreetly go out the front door at night without lighting everything up (security check).

Many of us put a switch on those two front lights. They are part of the main cabin lighting and come on when you turn the main lights on. With the switch turned OFF, the lights won't work, but you can flip the switch and they will come, making them active when the door is opened or closed. I mounted the switch on the dash with the other switches.

It's a nice option for controlling those lights. The switch is pretty simple. The controller for those lights is behind the instrument panel. You just need to run two leads from the switch to the controller. There is a post with photos and wire colors.

I don't know about the backlighting. Next to the televator switch is the universal remote. Around the corner is a panel for a bunch of stuff and the floor heat, not backlighting.

Guess since we have different models the light switches are setup different. I have one just to the right of the universal remote in addition to a light switch next to the front passenger seat. Attached is picture showing backlight switch (bottom left).

Here's where my living room panel that has the dimmer control is on my 2017 4018 DSDP (behind the Christmas decoration).

Ours is same location as TJ's - PSide, to the right of televator & to the left of the cooktop. BKLTG bottom is far lower left within the panel.

Question: Are the switches SINGLE or Multi (more than 2) Function,
Question: is there space beside them or above/below?
and finally

Woudl this work?
Brother P-Touch PT-90 Personal Label Maker | Staples®

It makes very nice, neat, peal and stick labels, I have one (differnet model) I use for many jobs around the "house" (office too)

Daymo makes a competing product, I own one of those too.

In fact if you get large enough tape (you want smaller tape for this, the tapes come in assorted sizes from 1/4 to 3/4 inch depending on the model, possibly larger) they even make address labels, both return and destination. It's how I addressed my Christmas cards in fact.

Do you have this system in your coach's?
You all need to visit the TECHNICAL SERVICE Section of COM_NET ton's of info in there beyond my reach.
Just look through the electrical schools sections for starters.
