I have a 2002 MADP 4095. It sounds like there is a subwoofer somewhere in the front of the coach, but I cannot seem to locate it. Am I imagining this? Surely that much bass is not coming from the speakers in the ceiling. The ceiling speakers are MTX brand.

The bass thump is annoying. I am just curious about it's source. Yes I can turn the bass down on the radio but it doesn't sound right.

If I don't find the thumper, I'm going to get some of those neon lights to mount under the coach that flash with each bass note.

The woofer is usually located at the back of the galley counter in one of the cupboards or drawers. Mine, for example, is to the right of the sink at the rear of a cupboard fastened to the wall.

Before the subwoofer was mounted in the kitchen sink cabinet, some were mounted under the right side of the dash.

The source of low frequency sound is hard to locate, and that's why the subwoofer can be located just about anywhere.

Mine was not even installed. The dealer installed it in the sink cabinet.

It was in the kick panel in front of the passenger seat. And oh yeah, the gain was turned all the way up on it.
