Dump Valve Connection

I have a 2014 ventana 3436, there is an access hole in the floor of the utility bay to allow access for the sewer hose then connect to the dump valve connection. There is not enough room for the sewer hose to go up through the access hole and connect to the valve. I have tried rotating the valve but no matter where the valve is positioned there is not enough room to connect the hose to the valve, so I have to leave the bay door open if I have the sewer hose connected. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Hi KenQ,
96kpmjmm posted the answer. The coach sewer connection should move up or down a considerable amount. This should allow for connection of the sewer hose.

You will need a short 90degree adapter available on Amazon, then tilt it down and run your slinky hose up from underneath to attach it to the adapter.

Or, if you don't want to wait on UPS or someone else to deliver what you ordered on Amazon simply stop by any Walmart and pick one up, or any RV store.

The 90s do come in different lengths. My first was too long and it turned too late. So had to order a second one. Works perfect.

We noticed the parts store at Newmar carried the Valterra clear 90 when we were there for CPU. They had to use something when deciding where to put the hole. Our Rhino 90 wouldn't work...so we bought the Valterra 90 and viola...it lines up nicely.

That is what we have been doing.
