Dutch Star 2017 4369 Whirlpool reefer poor cooling

Can't get reefer down below 39 degrees even at full cold setting, even after all night. Freezer section ok. Any thoughts? Will call whirlpool tomorrow unless you folks know what I'm missing.

A call to Whirlpool seems to be the best thing to do.

There was a bunch of packing tape on the inside of ours. Silly thing that probably is obvious, but make sure none of the vents are blocked.

Dr Phil. You are right lots of plastic and paper inside the reefer when new. But I removed it all.

Could be it's working correctly. 39 degrees for the refrigerator and around 0 degrees for the freezer is okay. Load up the refrigerator with a couple dozen bottles of water and see if it gets you back down to 39 reasonably quickly.

Our fridgediare does the same thing. Temp all over the place. On middle it bounces between 38 and 41, second coldest 37 to 40, coldest 35 to 40. We leave on second coldest and just don't keep food in it as long as we do at home. Not sure if it is the low end fridges Newmar puts in their coaches or where they are install.

Maybe someone with a top quality fridge in their coach can comment?

Did what you suggested and turned off breaker for several minutes. Temp slowly from 40 to 38 degrees. I'll take it. Thanks.
