Dutch Star Headlight bulbs

Hello,

I pulled my headlight bulbs to confirm their format as I wanted to install some better bulbs. It turns out Newmar put H11’s in for my low and high beams. I am under the impression that H11’s are only a low beam bulb. Can someon confirm what bulb should be installed for the high beam? I am guessing a 9005 but I would like to know for sure.

Also, does anyone know what vehicle these headlight assemblies are sourced from?

Thanks!

My listing for my ‘02 DutchStar shows the headlight high beam is the 9005 bulb, and the low beam is the 9006.

We have a 2015 DS 4018. Headlight assembly is from a Chrysler Town & Country. Vendor Part # - 333-1185L-AS – Driver’s Side, Vendor Part # - 333-1185R-AS - Passenger’s Side. Amazon Part Number: 5113336AF, CH2503192, 114-01110R from DIT Parts, Inc. You should be able to cross reference for more part numbers. Bought 1 set for spares in the aftermarket, I paid approximately $120.00 including shipping. The spares came with H11 lamps in them for both high and low beams, so I don’t think Newmar did that. Checked prices recently and they have increased quite a bit. If you search the internet you may still be able to find a deal.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Thank you! Now that I know what vehicle the lights came from, I was able to verify the bulbs. The bulbs are both the H11. Who knew the low and high beam could use the same bulb....it makes carrying spares much simpler.

Thanks again!

Your DS and other coach models are needed for reprogramming required plus information on
headlight problems
on Freightliner chassis.
You need to check your TSB's by using the link found in this important link for NEWMAR OWNERS.
