Dutchstar countertop trim color

As I look at interior photos of '05-09 Dutchstars, I see the countertops are Corian. I also see a bright accent stripe of a bold color. Is that paint? It seems inconsistent to have a neutral Corian color, then a bright, bold colored stripe as a part of the Corian surface.

I was thinking some of you Newmar experts might fill me in as to how and what that accent stripe is: how it's made etc.

On our '02 DSDP it was a glued in piece and part of the countertop. In fact the edging was three pieces, the countertop, the contrasting piece, then a third layer of the countertop color, all sandwiched together and routed to make the face.

Newmar makes their own countertops, or at least they do now. That "stripe" is another layer of the solid surface material laminated into the material used to make the counter top. If ordering new you can ask that it be left out (or choose a different color). On an existing coach, there's not much you can do short of replacing the counter top.
