Get this. If your E-Plex goes bad or needs programing, Newmar sends it to ED Tech . I talked to them a year ago and they won't give out the software.

E-plex coaches

a k ,

I looked for ED Tech with no luck.

Could it be ED&D technologies? They are related to E-PLEX.

I got a list of addresses from Newmar today and #145 is for the black water tank as I was told ( by RVDUDE). The #20 Module is a relay module for the block heater.

Thanks to all who helped.

I talked with 3 RV Service Centers and none would tackle the E-Plex system.

Maybe we could put together a trouble shooting guide if Newmar can't do it.

Correction: Newmar can and will reprogram the ePlex in terms of clock table lookup values which is the bulk of what might need programming. They also have full diagnostic capabilities for the clock and the modules. If the clock itself fails, Newmar just replaces it, as one would expect. It is basically a computer and network all in one device. It's not field repairable.

You are correct that ED&D/Sensata/Whatever they call themselves these days will not give us lowly owners the programming software. But, Newmar does have it and several techs there know how to use it - and very well I might add.

Thanks RVDUDE.

It is a relief to know that they can service the E-PLEX system.

I hope I don't have to go there however.

My next project is to find out why I have only 2 out of 5 water pump switches working. I will take that to a new thread soon.

Thanks,

Joe

I'll add that some of the bigger Newmar dealers, especially those that deal in the high end coaches, have the E-PLEX tools and techs that know how to use them. Specifically, both North Trail in Florida and Lee's in OKC have diagnosed/fixed E-PLEX issues for us.
