EEZ TPMS Monitor Mount

Started setting up the new EEZ TPMS today. I noticed that the included window mount suction cup for the monitor unit does not look like it is going to cut it (won't even stick to the window on its own at all). I was wondering what others had done for mounting arrangements? I do not see any other options offered on the EEZ site (no bag mounts or hard mounts).

I went ahead and modified a good sticky suction cup mount from my Escort radar unit which I have now mounted permanently (for the car, just to clarify). I think this will work well, but was just curious if others had more ideas to share.

I think this EEZ will be very valuable from a safety perspective. After pairing up the sensors I already identified that my inside tire on the passenger dually is only at 55#. I just brought the rig home 2 weeks ago, and it has been in the barn ever since while we are setting things up, so this kinda surprised me (wondering if I drove it home from the local dealer like this).

Aside from the EEZ, I picked up some good truck tire gauges to keep on top of things going forward.

When I bought mine, they also supplied a small metal bracket to which you could attach the mounting shoe from the suction cup mount. I then mounted it to the dash using an existing screw just below the cluster and to the left side. I then hard wired it to an accessory circuit so it comes on with the key. Otherwise, I can simply turn it on with the switch on the side to use the internal battery. Sorry I'm not at with the coach so I can't give you a picture now.

If your suction cup mount won't stick to a piece of glass, there has to be something wrong with it. I'd call them and see if they will send you a replacement mount.

I use two small velcro strips to mount the monitor. It work great just to the left of the steering column. The way the dash is made the lower base of the monitor sits on the ledge and the metal bracket on the back sits on top of the dash. It can be removed easily also. I routed the power cord under the dash and up at the corner of the dash and side. The cord fits almost perfect in the small grove between the dash sections. Easy to see and hear.

Mine came with the metal bracket as well, I used one of the existing dash screws and 3M double sided molding tape to hold it in place.

I do have a question for all of you regarding hard wiring. The supplied wires are pretty small gauge, has anyone hard wired theirs, if so how/where. Also, where have you mounted the booster?

I used Velcro and it works great. Mounted the booster in the rear closet at the back of the coach. I wired it into the closet light fixture.

I got the booster but have never used it as we pick up all the toad tires just fine without. In regards to the display I just set on ground next to me under the dash A/C controls. Occasionally I may pick it up & scroll through readings but otherwise it's right there next to me if an alarm were to go off.

On my Ventana I removed the pull out trays and found a unused labeled wire that is switched with the ignition. I hooked my tire monitor and dash cam to the wire. I turn the tire monitor (battery switch) on while getting ready to leave so it checks the tires before starting the engine. As far the booster I had to get one due to losing the inside dual tire on the passengers side. It will report for about an hour then stops. I checked the battery, change sensor locations and it still happens. Talked to tech support, they suggested some type electrical interference or too much metal in the area. It reports fine while stationary so not sure about the metal part. Location of the booster is still pending as I would like for it to be on a switch also.

I used a fuse tap like the one in the link. I tapped into an accessory fuse so the unit would switch on and off with the ignition switch. I crimped an eyelet on the ground wire and attached it to a ground stud on the fuse and relay center in the dash.

I've been using the EEZE monitor for about 4 years now mounting it on the inside of the windshield. A little drop of spit to moisten the inside of the rubber cup has done the trick all along. Sorry for such a low tech response, but hey works for me. And as for the booster I too have not needed it on my 2017 DSDP 4369 as it easily reaches the rear tires of my toad. Maybe it just fresh batteries so far, can't say for sure but again works for me.

TPMS and Bluetooth Speaker Mount to Stereo CD Slot

Here's how I mount our TireSafe-Guard TPMS display and Motorola Bluetooth speaker to the CD slot in the dash stereo. In that location both driver and passenger can see/use them.

Thanks everyone. Great ideas for mounting. I went back and found the box (which the DW had already picked up and tossed), and sure enough there is a hard mount adapter in a little bag. Still deciding on that or the velcro approach. I am very happy with the unit though, as it sure gives peace of mind to see all of the tires at a glance. On to the next safety upgrade (Safety-T-Plus stabilizer).
