Electric Pressure Washer Questions

My SIL got me a soap cannon for Christmas. Now I need to find a low pressure power washer to use with it.
What electric pressure washer do you use? What is the PSI? What is the GPM? Any other hints and tips?

Thanks!

Honestly...if you are using a soap cannon or rinsing with deionized water...you din’t Need a lot of power.

I am using a inexpensive Harbor Frieght electric model...

Apache 99023752-C Female Pipe Thread Pressure Washer Bayonet Wand Connection Adapter Set (5 pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GN53H7Y..._0M7JCbC4XV474

Might need an adapter set for your cannon to fit the type of pressure washer you get.

Road wave is made by AR Blue. It is considered an industrial unit. I purchased this primarily because of the number of vehicles I wash. I use this for approx 4 hours every week, which is still not a lot of time, but far more than most will ever use theirs.

Prior to buying the Road Wave, I had a $139 AR Blue permanently installed in my 2013 DSDP. This was still working when I sold my 2013 DSDP.

I used that one far less, only about 1.5 hrs a week, as I didn't wash anything other than my Truck & BMW besides the motorhome.

I still think it could have done the "heavy" usage I do now.

AR Blue cobrands many of the other PW you see on amazon, such as Stanley. It is a very good company.

I’ve been using this for over a year for MH, truck, And MC. Not bad for the price.

Brand new, same pressure washer

And it’s small but enough for our compartment.....

On my 2014 DS, I stripped down a Harbor Freight power washer (Karger) to the bare bones, which ended up being the size and shape of a football. I mounted it just behind the driver's side headlight. As time went on, I found that I just didn't use it that much.

For my 2019, I bought this small little washer from Lowe's after getting a review from someone I trusted. It's just enough to power off mud on the chassis, if necessary, and to wash the coach with minimal water use.

I just picked it up and haven't used it yet. Before I bought, I spoke to another poster I trust, "FIRE UP" who bought and tried one. He said it worked fine. I'm not looking for something to blast the paint off....I have one of those at home....just something to rinse.

I like the Greenworks one...nice and compact. I bought an electric from Walmart while enroute, very similar (if not same) to the Harbor Freight version. Do you use the portable (Greenworks) more than your fixed modified Karcher? Because it's still portable? You had enough pressure hose to get to the back side?

I already carry a relatively compact Greenworks 1600 PSI / 1.2 GPM pressure washer in our Bay Star. Works great with a foam cannon. But I needed it at home, so I'm thinking of replacing with an even more compact Greenworks unit from Lowes.

So are you guys using onboard water to feed your pressure washer, or are you using campground water from the hose bib?

I never use campground water, don't have any reason, I just use my own water. Now for showers and black tank, I do. Just my thing , I guess.

I am using the onboard water, and running it thru the DI tanks prior to entering the pressure washer. The DI tanks have a diverter valve to bypass the resin if I am wanting straight tap water.

The water I am using is heated by the Oasis.
