Going through Elkhart Indiana next week and was wondering if anyone of the many RV surplus houses have Newmar Surplus? or more than say another one.
I just purchased a 99 London Aire 45' model 4559 that had a fire in the Bedroom and Bathroom, I am looking for ceiling vinyl pad, oak cabinets, ceiling lights, wall paper, etc.
Any tips would be appreciated
thanks
Rich

There's two surplus places in Elkhart and one is huge and one is small.
There's no real Newmar surplus available as such, but you may find something.
You may find some generic parts that will work.
Newmar only builds RVs to order, so they only make cabinets and order parts specifically for the rig being built. They don't have much extra sitting around.
They will make or order just about anything you need, but not at surplus prices.
See Jeannie in parts as she knows her Newmar parts. Very pleasant gal and very helpful.

I spent a lot of time in those 2 surplus stores last Sept; before I bought my coach; looking for parts for my B-in-L; if your fire had been in the dash, they would be a big help. Should have spent my time down the road at Newmar, missed the last tour of the day by 5 min. on my way home , unfortunatly it's too far for a return trip. Both stores a within 1/2 mile of one and other. Worth a look for the bathroom items.

I found a site called RVbasics.com that lists old, overstock, salvage companies. Might be of some value during your journey for parts.

Thanks for the input and tips. I actually was thinking of calling Newmar parts department so I'll talk to Jeannie. I think my biggest challenge will be getting the ceiling material and if I have to match wallpaper that will be almost impossible. I think I will plan a stop by the factory, it could be useful.
In Elkhart, I am hoping to maybe get replacement windows and lighting, a mattress and bedding material. And like you guys said bathroom stuff.
With the cabinet being oak and it looks like a natural finish I could have those rebuilt or new ones made if I can't find any replacements.

If you find a good RV junkyard I need a replacement valve for my power gear jacks.
Power gear wants $160.00.... No way can I afford that. PM if you find one cheap, thanks.
