Emergency Escape Window Fail

The outer pane of the bedroom emergency escape window separated from the inner pane and flaps in the wind while traveling. The inner pane is secured with latches as it should be. For the time being, I duct taped the loose pane to the siding. (Does not look too cool.)
Anyone had this experience and have any solutions to suggest?

Get it replaced ASAP.
For now I'd open the widow and wrap the tape from the outside, around the edge and stick to the inside pane. Won't fix the issue but won't look as bad!
This was one reason I specifically didn't want the frameless windows.

Our insurance pays 100% for safety glass replacement. Check yours.
Already had to use it to replace 30"x60" dual pane slider that was hit with glass marble accelerated by a misspent youth with a slingshot. Ins paid, no issues.

Hi Bushy,
Did the separation happen because it came unglued? If so you can use Valco HV-350 glue/sealant. Around the edges, not too much. If not liked you can then replace.

Thanks to all for the ideas.
The technique suggestion for taping was a big help. I called our dealer and Newmar. No warranty remaining for this. I need to check with our insurer to see if there is any help there but I'm doubtful that our insurance will cover it as we have $1,000 deductible on glass. I will try the adhesive suggested in the previous post. That seems like a fairly easy and low cost alternative to total replacement.
BTW - On the road across SD in 104 degree heat. AC is working great!

THANKS!
