My engine brake switch is a 3-position rocker that is labeled top-to-bottom: High Low Off.
When I push the switch to the bottom position, the one labeled off, the low brake comes on. The Off position is actually in the middle position.
Is the switch mis wired or mis labeled? Or am I totally losing it?

Hi Mark! I can't remember what my switch says but, the off position for mine is in the center. I will have to check my switch, but I am sure that mine is labeled correct. Paul

Hi Doc!
My switch is labeled:
++++++++++++++++++++
Engine
Brake
HI
OFF
LOW
++++++++++++++++++
It works the way it's labeled.

Thanks Paul & Dirk. I'll add it to the list for my next visit to Camp Newmar.

The switch is mislabeled but, I can't account for you losing it or not. Could be both.
(Sorry you couldn't make it up Mark. Hope to see you sometime soon.)

I can't believe Dirk & Paul let that go uncommented!
Thanks Scott, I too wish we had been able to get to NY - but we ended up at Newmar instead for 16 days getting work done (3 refrigerators and 2 washing machines) and that put a REAL crimp in the schedule. Once you have an ammonia line break on a reefer, you'll NEVER forget the smell!
Some day - I promise.
Mark

Hi! We let it go to see if Scott was still lurking, while working all those hours (just like me) We were able to flush him out. Paul
