Engine Hatch tile

Today I was fixing my hose for the gear box overflow, and noticed the hatch cover plywood was separating from the tile grout. I have this added to my repair list in September, but I am curious if anyone else has dealt with this.

I removed my gear box extension in July from my 2017 DS 4369 getting it ready for trade in and the hatch/tile was solidly attached. Plan to put the extension on my 2020 when it arrives in Early October

My engine hatch is fiberglass. It crunched when stepped on. I took it out, and put tape on three sides. I then poured fiberglass resin in and put a whole bunch of weight on top to clamp. Post dry, no more crunch noises.

You might also want to put tape on all finished surfaces.
