Wagonmaster, I will tell you how it affected me. IMO my 2014 FL chassis with a Cummins 400hp ISL with 2010/2013 emissions stuff that weight like 10K more than my prior coach has CLEAN exhaust and gets at least 1/2 MPG better than the old coach. The prior coach was a 38 ft FL DSDP with a 300 hp Cat engine. This coach will accelerate much faster, stop much shorter and weight MUCH more yet gets better mileage. A win, win, win as far as I am concerned. The DEF is a small price to pay. I have yet to see a regen indicator in the 19K miles I have driven. I drive 60 MPH and do not idle more than I have to. Regen is a non-issue as far as I can see right now.
