This is what I did to my 05 DSDP I only lost 4" off the top cabinet so I didn't really lose storage and now I have a 27" Digital LCD that can be watched from the pilot co-pilot chairs. Next is putting in a desk getting rid of the dinette. Then taking out the over the dash tv and replacing with a 20" LCD getting rid of the large box with other tv in and making the back toward the windshield flat allowing me to instal a full size power visor

Very nice. Have wished for one there. Did you cable and wire to the floor? My entertainment center is above the drivers chair.

Hi Kaye & Larry,
I drilled a small hole through top of lower cabinet behind the tv which is wall mounted and wired it to my outside hookups. The control box is still above drivers seat for the satilite box but being the tv is Digital HD it picks this up with the roof antenna. I have several digital channels I never knew were in the area

This is a great idea - On our 2004DS, I replaced the upper cabinet with one that is shorter thus allowing for a 37" LCD monitor to be installed. The space is wide enough but not tall enough thus the need to replace the upper cabinet. I did not want to mess with the corian counter top. I used louvered doors on top to provide air circulation for the equipment relative to the entertainment system.
I have a couple of photos at

Let me know if you'd like more details - this is a major improvement for TV viewing from the front seats.
