Entry step issue
There are a couple of default operations, for safety reasons. Key on or not, if you open the door the stairs will extend. Regardless of switch position, if you turn on the key with the door closed, the stairs will retract.
There's a switch for the stairs in the passenger side overhead panel. In my coach the stair switch is tripled up on a small panel with the two security lights. You can configure stair operation to some degree with this. Example: with the switch on, open the door and the stairs will extend. If you then turn the switch to off while the door is still opened, the stairs will be turned off in the opened position, and will not cycle in and out with the door. Useful for long stays.
