Saw this Essex on I-95 coming out of FL last Friday. I reduced the photos to 640x480 but have more detailed photos if anyone is interested.

Most of the crayon markings state "spyder". Above ESSEX is written "new". An arrow is pointed at "by Newmar".

An unhappy owner???

-Tom

Hi! Looks like the gal from Florida was driving it. Really, it looks like they want to make sure the body shop fixes everything. Paul

I will speculate that it is in more of the nature of an insurance claim or repair estimate for what ails it. The various arrows seem more like they are pointing out areas which will need attention at the time of repair.

Upon final inspection at the factory, it is common to see similar marks made where the repair and touch up crew will be focused.

"New" with an arrow pointing to ESSEX makes me think it was written by a disgruntled owner. Also the arrow pointing to "by NEWMAR" indicates the same IMHO.

I think there was only one person in the coach and that was the driver.

Do you think it might be something like storm damage, or vandalism?

Hi Paul. Say hi to Jill for us. Hope you have a great summer.

I also think it must be just an accident that needed to be marked and photoed. Note that the mud flap is missing also.

There is a good indication that this owner is not upset at his rig as it has recently been washed. If you are feed up with a rig, you certainly don't bother keeping it clean.

That's my guess as well given the fiberglass damage from an impact on the right rear.

I'd guess it was damage that was being pointed out and he's probably on the way to the shop.

But that Allegro Bus that he's next to sure does look good.

I do think that the name of the article is a little presumptive.

Looks like he backed into something and that's the notes by the body shop or the claim adjuster.

It doesn't appear to be a poor workmanship issue that you could be upset at Newmar over.

My wife isn't happy when I take photos while driving.

I hope it wasn't done by the gal at North Trail.

The Allegro Bus belongs to my next door neighbor here at home. He was also in FL and we drove home together. He insists that we drive up through WV to Pittsburgh. I kept up with him in the mountains but his 400 ISL definitely can run away from my gasser on the 5% grades.
