Essex docking light replacement

Has anyone found an alternate source for the docking light used on the Newmar coaches?

I was just quoted a price and it was a little high: Part 125527 cost $134.89

We have a 18 London Aire with the same docking lights. The first time we washed the coach the light filled with water. After 4 or 5 days it dried out and had Newmar replace when at the factory for warranty work in July. Like you we might turn docking lights twice a year. Might try another source for docking light.

I replaced my halogen dock lamps with aftermarket lamps from Amazon, they are 50W instead of 55W originals, but I can't see any difference. Your bulb # should convert to a different brand.
If you are replacing the entire assy., disregard this.

I may remove it this winter and see if I can open it up replace the LED. I wish I could find the OEM and see if I could buy a new one without the horrendous Newmar markup.

Found it

I called ITC and asked about the docking light they supply to Newmar and she said they wish they supplied the docking light. She said Newmar was using Hella docking lights. So with a little research in found the exact light online for $36.00 saving over $100 of markup that Newmar charges. Here is the link if anyone else finds them self in the same pickle.

These are most likely used on all of the luxury lineup coaches.
