Have any of you had problems with the seat back on the drivers side sliding to the right? I have mine about 2 inches shifted and my right side back doesn't even touch it. I am sitting side ways. I thought is was just mine so I ordered the foam insert from Villa out in California but when I put my coach away, we have 3 other Essexs and they are all the same. It is unbearable to drive sitting sideways. I was just wondering if any of you would look at your seat facing forward and look down at the stitching and see if I'm crazy are all of them doing this. The stitching is off set at least 2 ". I thought the seat was bent but it's the back.

I attached pictures of mine

That's quite a seat back twist and shift at the base...

Negative for me... Square as can be - both at the base and up the length of the back.

I'll bet a spot weld on the internal frame has let go. Had one fail on an armrest - it just flopped totally south. Unzipped the soft and supple stuff and had a friend zap it back with a single touch of a stick.

Maybe some unzipping/digging into the covering to see the frame is in your future?

No problems with our 08 King Aire seats. They are made by Villa, but are a different seat than the Essex, but probably are made very similarly.

Nothings broke. I called Villa and they said it was probably due to the foam shifting. I have to do something. Last couple of trips I had to prop a pillow up behind me. I ordered new foam Just for the back $192. Thanks for looking. Better look closer at yours. Stand over the top and look down. As I said, The three other Essex's where I store mine are the same way. One worse and one not as bad.

Good thing nothings broke... Surprised about Villa having bad padding. Doubly surprised they didn't offer some assistance on yours???

I did spend some time examining my seat back - yours had me very curious - even got a square out. Positively no twist (or collapsed padding) at all.

Does the seams running down the back line up with the seat? My frame isn't bent or broke. Just shifted. Look at my picture and see where the seams are shifted about 2" to the right.

My mistake. 3 years in the third grade didn't teach me anything.

Tempting but I like the 500HP under the seat.
