I realize you can't edit your post above and correct the typo but $1000/month is outstanding. And the C.Martin garage and paint shop can fix anything! You can even get solar installed, electric gate valves, you name it. While you're sleeping a guy emerges from a house and works in his sleep and in the morning you have LED lights flashing and all great things! I tell ya, you just can't pass up a trip to the Martin factory abode.

Florida's sunshine, beaches, oceanfront, outdoor dining, I mean you just cannot beat it. Out west you have poisonous everything, flowers even want to stab you, who wants that? I'll see everyone here in Florida in a few months! Woohoo, I cannot wait!

Not a typo...$1000 per day is what a I would be fined to allow anyone to park on my property. There are a lot of sneaky people that don’t like rv’rs... Sometime after purchasing our property in unincorporated Palm Beach County...a group passed zoning restrictions. You can have up to four recreational vehicles (four wheelers, boat, jet skis, RV’s)...of which only ONE can be an RV. It must be stored behind the front setback of the house. It cannot be used to set up “housekeeping” (in other words...nobody can actually stay in it). In 2012...when given a written notice for our fifth wheel...the going rate was $1,000 per day for a violation. I can’t even let my parents park their motorhome in my driveway for a short visit.

Anyway... as far as dissuading folks from visiting Florida...I am only joking. I haven’t met an rv’r I didn’t like. I love to meet new people from wherever they originate. I enjoy learning from their experiences. So, if more come...hopefully we’ll just add more and better rv facilities to accommodate everyone. I raise a glass...and toast to your safe journey. Look forward to meeting you along the way.

Sorry...I just can’t accommodate anyone in my driveway.

Now back to poking fun at the Snow birds...

Well I was joking but I’m glad you got that out of your system. You don’t have soft serve ice cream so I’m not coming.

I did some research and learned that Love Bugs are a delicacy in Newmibia. They are sold by the square inch. If you're looking for a new coach or expensive new mod then consider going to Florida this winter and collect your Love Bugs to sell at high value.

Just to throw in a monkey wrench into the thread. Wintered in Myrtle Beach (a few sites away from Neil's palm tree picture) for $3400 October 1st to March 31st including electric. Not as hot as Florida, but just as sunny and 1/2 the distance from home, at least our home.
