The "check engine" light and buzzer comes on lately when we use the exhaust brake. Doesn't come on right away, usually after the RPMs go over 2,000 for a while when it shifts down a gear. All operating parameters are normal engine, oil, and transmission temps, oil pressure. Haven't called Cummins yet but just wondering what this problem might be.

Ideas?

There will be a wire going to the jake brake that is too short. The wire rubs and shorts out on the jake brake. I had that at 8l...
