The main problem with a short PDI (ours was 3 hours) is, you don't know, what you don't know, things like fuse blocks (how many and where), bypass valves for the water heater, wires for the brake conrtroler, etc. If this is your first coach, you may have no idea, what you will need to know, or the various tasks that you will have to perform. We were more concerned with making sure everything worked, and general function, and that there was no visible damage, tears and what not. You then add all this to the problem of trying to absorb all the information that they are telling you, and at least I found myself on overload.
