Factory Warranties

I was looking through the tons of manuals I got with the new DSDP and found the original sale papers for the coach. Seems it was sold "New" in June of '09....???.... Do not the engine, chassis, transmission, etc warranties begin at initial entry into service as opposed to date of manufacture? Under that theory, even the Spartan chassis has warranty time remaining. Any opinions greatly appreciated!

With Newmar and Spartan the warranty starts on the date you take delivery.

Usually the chassis mfr will provide a form that the original owner (or dealer) will fill out documenting the date of sale. If that form is not filled out, they should accept your documentation. I'd call Spartan's customer service with your VIN number, you should be able to get the dates and correct them if necessary.
