I am contemplating having a computer desk built and will install it along the wall and over the free standing table in the galley area. When I fasten it to the exterior wall of the front drivers side slide by screwing into the frame / studs, do I need to be concerned about hitting any electrical wiring. I assume that wires to the two duplex outlets in the area are not run inside the studs. Is that a good assumption???

I wouldn't assume anything on these units. Most good techs assume nothing, so I would hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

When I was at the factory on Wed I noticed that the wires run everywhere. The aluminum studs are like I-beams with holes in them on the sides. Thats how they ran the wires.

Having made many mods to coachs I have owned hitting wiring should not be of concern.
Take a look at this LINK and you will understand my reasoning. You only have about 5/8's of a wall surface to screw into before hitting a metal stud your wiring is run thru the center of studs with gromets to protect them. When screwing into wall first locate a stud than measure out 16" on center for more attachments. Predrill holes for threading screws and use only short screws enough to screw thru metal of stud.
You can open the outlets for direction of wire runs but always hit a stud for screw attachment never just a wall space between studs a molly will just pull thru the foam and wall plywood.
Have fun with your mods.
