Fiberglass roof

I was on the roof today & noticed air pockets under the one piece fiberglass roof panel. Hadn't noticed this before. They do not appear to be in the fiberglass panel, but underneath it. Is this from normal expansion due to hot weather?

The fiberglass roofs are not bonded to the substrate to allow different expansion rates of fiberglass and plywood, so an air gap is normal. Same reason people float a vinyl plank floor instead of gluing it to the subfloor.
