Fill-in States Map: DS Slide mounted, magnetic?

I've been searching online, and haven't been able to find...

I'd like to mount one of the fill-in US states maps on one of the slides on the new DSDP4018. Going to start from scratch/blank and only log states that THIS rig has visited, where we walked more than a mile or spent a night :-)

1) will a magnetic one work - stick to the slide?

2) Anyone have a good source or link to buy a nice-looking one? Don't want to trash up my new, gorgeous baby :-)

Thx in advance -

CC

Sides of the slides are fiberglass. Magnets won't work unless you add a strip of steel. We've found a selection at CW. Both in the stores and on line.

We added plexiglass to the bottom of our screen door and stuck the map on that.

Thanks! We'll take a look at it when we pick it up next week, then.

Did you buy yours at a store, or online? And do you like it, or have you seen others you preferred?

Thx -

- CC

We like what we got. We should have gotten the map with Canada included. Next time.
We bought it at a CW store.

I use a stick-on, placed on the front of the living room slide (driver's side). I prefer the type with plain solid color states, rather than the type with various pictures. Bought mine online.

I bought the stick on kind and mounted it to a piece of clear plexiglass. When in a campground I set it in the window.
