Wow, what a fun journey this has been. I guess "fun" is relative for some but we have enjoyed the research process and pursuing the right coach for us. With this forums help we have looked long and hard at the Mountain Aire's for about 2 years now. When the market changed we pulled back and took a wait and see approach. Have had several rigs that we have been interested in and for one reason or another they did not work out, it just wasn't meant to be. We finally found the right one and have the down payment in place so we know it's OURS when it arrives.

In a few weeks we get to pick up our new 2011 Mountain Aire 4336. It IS on the Spartan Chassis which was a must for us. I realize that the MM is considered by most to be a bit of a down grade from previous versions on the K2 but it is still an upgrade from the Spartan chassis on our current coach. Yes, as others have pointed out the engine is also a down grade from the previous version but again it's still an upgrade from our Cat C7. We love the floor plan and Lee's RV was fair on the price and fair on the trade. Can't ask for more than that!

It rolls out Newmars doors on the 8th and we will get to pick it up on the 15th of March which just happens to be when we had some planned time off for spring break. It's gonna be a long couple of weeks just waiting.

Thanks to everyone for the support on this forum what a great tool this is. We are looking forward to the fun in the next phase, being new owners!!!
Nina
