Finally found RV King sheet set that fits!

We have owned three Newmars with RV King mattrasses starting with our ‘04 DS. In order to get fitted sheets I had to modify a standard King set to fit. Well, they finally wore out. So the search was on for a replacement.

First there was the “custom” sheets at more than $100....Nope!

Then there was the option to modify a standard King set....Nope!

The RV King is 72” wide x 80” long, while the standard King is 76” x 80”. However, I discovered the California King was also 72” wide BUT 84” long. With the deep pockets of the California King this set fit well on my RV King.

Thought I would pass this info on!

RV Sheets

I found RV sheets that are made for RVs.

AB Lifestyles sells sheets made to specific RV mattress sizes. I ordered the King and they fit perfectly.

The top sheet does have elastic that fits on the bottom two corners to keep it secure and I thought that would be a problem-it's not. The first night on DH tossed and turned and tried to kick them off as usual. I was able to quickly make the bed in the AM and re-adjust. Very nice!

The sheets are 72" x 80" for a King.

I have no affiliation with them and saw a link somewhere on here recommending them.

The Cal fitted bottom stays tighter on the sides. The bottom just tucks under a bit more. The Cal top flat sheet doesn't hang down as far on the sides so a comforter/bedspread fits over it better.

Yes, absolutely! I believe what made the difference was the heavy elastic sewn into the very deep pockets.

I emailed Newmar and was told the standard pillow top king is 8" tall. Thought I would pass it on.
