Is the pink stuff flammable? If so, what is the flash point?

When I winterized the Precision Temp hydronic unit I left some in the heat exchanger. I intend to get it out before using the furnace or driving our MH (engine assist runs through the unit), but I wonder if there is enough heat to ignite it. I was told if it ignited in the heat exchanger the fluid would turn to sludge and would be a mess to get out. Certainly don't want that to happen.

Any comments?

Don

Google "propylene glycol physical characteristics" and you'll find all this data.

RV plumbing system antifreeze is typically propylene glycol mixed with water. As such it has no flash point per MSDS. As a Concentrate, it is combustable as PG is a member of the alcohol family.

Here is a very informative site about RV Winterizing Fluid.
