Flexsteel 6 way power seat problem

The threaded block came off the threaded rod somehow. Now the seat rocks back and forth like a rocking chair. I can't raise the block holder openings enough to have the proper angle to get the rod to thread into the block. Has anyone had this issue and how did you fix it?

Larry....hard to give help, just by looking (good picture though), but have you tried using the power tilt to change angle of the rod. If not, you say it rocks back and forth. Can someone rock/hold it back and lift the rod?

Lastly, can you start the nut on the rod, then pry the nut and rod assembly up into the nut support and use the motor to thread and pull the nut into the guides.

Hi Don, long time reader of your helpful advice. Thanks for all you do for us Newmar owners.

The two "C" openings that hold the threaded block are as high as I can get them. At its present position it tilts the block threads upward such that I cannot get the rod threads to engage. I've tried all sorts of combinations using seat back tilting with the various power switches but can't get those "C" openings to go any higher (which would lower the block threads to allow the rod to engage).

Rocking the seat doesn't affect movement of the "C" openings.

I'll have to see if there is technical support at Flexsteel to help me out.
