Floor Plan Difference

2020 dutch star, 4081 and 4020, besides the obvious, on floorplan 4081 kitchen is on passenger side, on floorplan 4020 kitchen is on drivers side (full wall side) is there any reason to order one plan over the other or does it come down to which side do i like the kitchen on? Looks like between the two floor plans every thing else is the same, just wondering

I think for peace of mind i would rather the 4081 since the kitchen is not on a slide. Less possible areas for leaks and less weight on the slide?!?

When I looked at the 4002 with the dinette on the passenger side and the 4018 on the drivers side the storage was smaller and the slide was smaller on the 4002 with the kitchen on the slide. Take a good look at both.

Looking at the floor plans for the 4081 and 4020 model, the difference is the 4020 has the kitchen area in the smaller curb-side slide out while the 4081 has the kitchen in the full wall driver-side slide out. The 4020 floor plan is very similar to the floor plan of my 2016 Ventana LE 4037. The wife preferred the 4037 plan because she preferred look out at "our" campsite from the kitchen area window as opposed to looking at the neighbor's camp site (even though that is what we see from the dinette table).

Since both floor models have the kitchen in a slide-out, any concerns about water lines / sink drain line leaking are the same with either floor plan. The 4020 and 4018 floor plans are both great. It simply comes down to personal preference.

I very much like the bathroom layout in the 4020 floor plan. In my 4037 bathroom the washer/dryer cabinet is in the left rear corner and does not have the most user friendly access. I wish my 4037 had the washer /dryer cabinet in the location the 4020 has.

Also for our 4037, we opted for the big, full queen size pull-out bed sofa in lieu of two recliners across from the "pop-up" television to provide sleeping space for adult son and his wife during LSU football weekends.
