Looking at a build sheet for the Essex,it shows the following floorplans available:

<UL TYPE=SQUARE>4103
4104
4502
4508
4510
4511[/list]
Apparently dropped the 4503 and added the 4510 and the 4511

Anyone seen the new floorplans?

New colors too....

I have seen them. The 4510 and 4511 are basically identical in floor plan except the 4511 is a 3 slide as apposed to the 4510 4 slide. Both are convential bedroom at back with driver side kitchen. The 4508 is a bath and a half. I found the 4508 beutiful but lacking storage space due to the extra head.

As an added note, the 4503 that was replaced by the 4502 is identical. I think the 03 was replace by the 02 in the Essex line as the MADP 45' uses the 03 designation. I would think this was only not to confuse the two.

Peter.....clarification question.

In the '06 4502 the shower configuration made a "V" with a small cabinet on either side. One cabinet was accessed in the head and the other was accessed in the bedroom. In the '06 4503 the shower was "squared" to the room without these cabinets.

I take it the 4502 of last year is this year's 4502 as well, with the cabinets?

Also....what was different about the 4510?

The '07 4502 is the basically the same as the '06 with the "V" shower and side cabinets. The colors and graphic have changed. The Venetian, for example has gone from '06 very dark red to dark blue.

The 4510 has the head on the right as apposed to the 02 head on the left.

I agree with your assessment of the 4508....Nice idea but lacking in storage.

Thanks for the 402/4503 clarification...

Newmar said they would custom replace the mid head with storage but I don't want to have to jump the bed while on the road for a comfort break. Additionally I don't want a guest coming through the bedroom in the middle of the night to use it.

BOB & LUG_NUT: I found your "review" of these new ESSEX floorplans interesting! When I realized you were talking about 45 foot motorhomes, I could not stop myself from commenting , so please forgive.

Our 37 foot gassser is also a bath and a half, and my wife won't even look at floorplans that aren't! She values "her" private bath in the rear so much. The front head being readily available while traveling is certainly a bonus, and, while parked, our guests and I get to use the front "stool room", as Newmar calls it.

When we are asked by other RVers "why in the world do you need two toilets???", we simply repy- "how many do you have in your HOME?"

"To each, his own!" That is why they offer so many floorplans-trying to please everyone. But a lack of storage capacity in a 45 foot coach seems like an oxymoron to us gassers! ED

I have the bath an 1/2 and can't do without it too many women travel in my coach. Plus our coachs 03 have plenty of storage, whats lacking in newer coachs is the full floor to ceiling wardrobe closets in bedroom the 05-06's have shirt closets instead because of larger bed and have pushed linen closet out of corner and put sink in rear bath in corner, looks like tight fit to me useing sink. Shower is smaller also. These items do not have me looking for a new coach at present will stick with present one. "007"

In my Vectra the girls have "assigned" me the sink in the toilet room and they have taken the sink in the bedroom.
Fine by me as the toilet room sink in the Vectra and the Essex have about the same amount of room...The "medicine" cabinet for the open bath sink in the Vectra and Essex has more storage, which them girls need more than I do.
I barely need a comb anymore,so it's not like I need a bunch of room for hair products!!
