Flying in or out of Nappanee IN

Going to be taking our coach to the factory for a few warranty repairs. Have any of you flown in or out of the area. Probably going to drive coach up and fly home.

South Bend is the closest airport (SBN), limited service though. Next closest is probably Indianapolis.

In 2004, Newmar had an employee that lived in South Bend carry me to the airport and pick me up when I returned. Don't know if you can get that kind of treatment, but one can always ask.

Don't know where your flying to, but South Bend does have flights to several destinations. I think you can even get bus service from the South Bend airport to Chicago O'Hare.

We flew into South Bend. At the time there was direct service (via puddle jumper) from RDU to South Bend. There's also taxi service to Nappanee if you don't want to rent a car, price was reasonable considering the distance, I think we paid $120 or so.

I grew up in that area and lots of family still lives there. Almost anyone who wants to fly somewhere with a reasonable schedule and cost drives to Chicago. Indianapolis is the second choice. Good luck.

O'hare is the best choice. There are major shuttles, both train and bus headed to Northern Indiana. They run at least to South Bend.
