Hi All - This is my first time logging in for some help. I have a 2004 Mountain Aire and need help finding a replacement FM Antena for my coach. There are 3 of them on my roof, they are about 12" and connect to a fitting on the roof. I am currently in Maggie Valley, NC and been unable to locate one in this area - can anyone help me? BOSNBILL

Welcome bosnbill to the Newmar forum & irv2.
You may find one at a boat marine store such as this or if there is a radio shack in area they may have one.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Mine is about 12in rubber and broke on the Blue Ridge Parkway. When I got home I bought a new whole antenna at O'Reilly's and just used the mast. I took the screw out of the side of the old one and the new one fit right on.

Bosnbill---

I had a similiar problem.
I went through a dealer a few years ago. Newmar needs your Newmar build number. Had the new antenna in a few days.

I don't know what will happen today with suppliers dropping like flies. Give it a shot----

If your rubber antennas are like the ones on our 2007 KSDP and A friends 2008 DSDP you can get them at just about any auto parts store. We found them at many chain auto parts stores and at least one Walmart. They were all the same brand as came on the motor home. Screw off the old and screw on the new. They were on a card and blister pack. Walmart, when they had them, cost about $7-8. The others ranged from $10-12. We were looking for a total of 5 between us. Every one broke in exactly the same place. I put a clear piece of vinyl hose over the spot where they break and filled the void with black silicon. So far so good -no more broken antennas.
