For us newbies?
Ok guys, i have been wondering what the heck are these coaches like a 2008 DSDP or MADP. Well I figured it out and we have a 2011 VDP. So for the newbies who were too embarassed to ask if you didn't know or wondered? The MADP is Mountain Aire Diesel Pusher, DSDP is Dutch Star Diesel Pusher and our VDP is a Ventana Diesel Pusher. Sorry I had to post this for us newbies. It has bugged me for a while trying to figure that out. Thanks

A couple of exceptions to the naming scheme.

Good question!
I don't hear short names for gas powered units, perhaps it is CSGP (Canyon Star Gas Puller)

You know, thinking it over..........I think is just simply, CS. The DP may only be used for Diesel Pussers. But, both share the real quality name, Newmar.
Just a thought!

Steve N Sal is CORRECT!
Way back when, there was also a DSCA, a KSCA, and MACA. Our 03 KSCA 3740 (WCC chassis) was a great coach, and is still running well for the second owner.

It took me a couple of weeks plus to figure that a FRED was a FRont Engine Diesel. Think I ended up seeing it on an ad for a w-20 Workhorse chassis.

Nah, that's just the good DR. doing his patented "double s keystroke". He saves all his "H" for the Amigo thread!

Welcome Davebr to the Newmar forum & irv2.
We do have a lot of DP,CA's over the years you can also find out more information about your coach by going to the COM_NET2 link in Quick Tips.
Enjoy your Newmar many safe miles to boot.
