Fan in freezer compartment of our Norcold 2117 (4door, self-defrosting, ice maker, water dispenser in door) on our 08 MADP quit. Things defrosting, water not freezing for ice. Refrigerator fan running fine and cooling as it should.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is this the same fix you had done at the FMCA Rally back in 08?
Did they give you any information on the fix they made?

007 --

Don't know if it's related to that fix or not. Little info on what they did except beef up the heater bits in the freezer so when it self-defrosts it doesn't refreeze before draining as water.

Tested thermistors, fuses on control board, unplugged/replugged connectors on the control board but everything appeared to check out. Suspect it's a failed component somewhere on the board. Going to drive to a Norcold tech in Akron tomorrow (in Cleveland now). Meantime we've stuffed the basement freezer and have thermal bags with ice and food scattered around the coach. Ugh.

The drain hose into the small black box outside has a plug on end of it, if the plug was removed warm air can get sucked up into the box portion of fridge raising temps in box.
The hose needs plug with two small drain holes, that needs to be cleaned at times.
